Google Spreadsheet Tips and Handy Hints

  1. Export - go to File, Download as to convert to a regular Microsoft Excel Sheet if you are more familiar with that software for more features, etc.
  2. Insert Column - go to Insert, Column for your own annotations or other info.
  3. Form - to edit, change, go to live form, or create a detailed data summary.
  4. Sort - as you look at your header row, in the upper right hand corner in each column is a small down arrow. Click on this for your options.
  5. Share - to share this document with your administration, click on Share in the upper right hand corner -- just under your name. Add the google email of the person, select Edit or View rights, then Done.
